    2006

A pretty uneventful holiday in Cyprus. We visited a few new places. Different falling down stuff, revisited Tomb of the Kings – it was still stupidly hot. The holiday we originally booked would have been a bit further down the road, I think it was called the Tomb Of The Kings Apartments or something like that, but Sarah found some really bad reviews that had been posted very recently, so we decided to move the booking. 2004

This year we visited less ruins and things, me and Kate went to watch the Cyprus W.R.C. (bloody good it was too) Saw a snake. Bumped into the infamous Crocodile George who drove the jeep when we went to the rally. We also spent a bit of time getting married. The wedding was excellent. The meal was fantastic. The ‘stag night’ was eventful. Who can forget watching Yordi (juices of a laaaddyyy) from the bar windmilling his punches after getting into a fight with the guy who ran the bar next door? Also, I had made no plans as to when and where I’d do it. For all I knew,…

    1999

Anemi apartments – Paphos – Cyprus 16th May 1999, one week, flying from Bristol. Booked through First Choice. Apartments were set between a ‘gentleman’s club’ and a strip club. Not sure what the difference was. Still, it turned out to be very well situated for the main Paphos town. Had to put up with constant calls from reception to get us to attend an on-site BBQ, which we didn’t go to but they still tried to charge us for. I think they also tried to charge someone else for phone calls they didn’t make as well. Most places we visited we went by taxi as it was so cheap. This…
